This is a thorough renovation of the primary communal spaces with particular focus on integrating the kitchen and dining while also pulling more of the backyard view deep into the life of the kitchen. Increased storage with a larger pantry and island are priorities. Improvements in both natural, ambient, and task lighting are essential. There is also an overarching goal of bringing back the original Eichler aesthetic by reducing compartmentalization and creating a more fluid flow.
